It’s time to Swing again with Lindy Hop on the Rock! Register for the next jumpin’ session of six dance classes for only $50.

Lindy Hop is an energetic and improvisational partnered dance from the 1930’s danced to swing jazz. It’s social, a Hellofa good workout, and it’s old timey fun! Best of all, no previous dance experience or partner required to register. 

So, what are you waiting for? Register for the upcoming session today, learn to dance, and become a member of a growing community of swing dancers - right here in St. John’s, Newfoundland.

Classes take place every Tuesday for six consecutive weeks. Each class is 70 minutes in duration including a warm up. Classes take place at the Landing: Room UC-3018, 3rd floor of the Smallwood University Center, Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN).

Practice what you've learned and have a great social time at the dances after class. Free if you're taking a class!

When you sign up for Intermediate, you may also take a beginner class at no extra cost.

On-line registration closes at 3:00 PM on the day classes start.

PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME ON THE FIRST DAY OF CLASSES

The first day schedule is:

Registration - 8:00 PM - 8:20 PM (for those who did not register online)

Beginners A and Beginner B classes - 8:20 PM to 9:30 PM (arrive by 8:10 PM)

Intermediate class - 6:50 PM to 8:00 PM (normal class time is 7:00 PM to 8:10 PM)

Social Dance: 9:30 PM to close ($3 entry fee for unregistered dancers)

Please arrive at least ten minutes before your first class, and allow time to change into your dance clothes and shoes.

* Beginners must attend the first day of classes.

* If you need to make a special arrangement, you must do it in advance by contacting lindyhopontherock@gmail.com. 

* Unfortunately Lindy Hop on the Rock cannot accommodate late registration, late payment, or refunds.
