Lindy Hop on the Rock COVID-19 Safety Acknowledgment
When hosting classes, and social events, Lindy Hop on the Rock (LHOTR) adheres to the COVID-19 Public Health guidance set forward by the government of Newfoundland and Labrador. While the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions have relaxed, LHOTR continues to place the safety of is participants and organizers first.
By participating in activities organized by LHOTR, we require that all participants (includes LHOTR organizers, volunteers, and community members) agree to the following safety precautions:
1. Agree that you will not attend an LHOTR event if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms i.e., two or more of the following:
a. Fever (or signs of fever including chills, sweats, muscles aches, light-headedness)
b. Cough
c. Sore throat
d. Headache
e. Runny nose
f. Painful swallowing
g. Diarrhea
h. Unexplained loss of appetite
i. Loss of sense of taste or smell
2. Agree that you will not attend a LHOTR event if any of the following apply to you:
You have been in close contact, in the last 14 days, with a person suffering from an acute respiratory illness.
You have been in close contact with a known or suspected case of COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
3. Agree that you will wear a mask while dancing with other participants at LHOTR classes, and social events.
4. Agree that you will contact LHOTR to inform the organizers if you have been diagnosed over the course of your participation in classes or social events.
How LHOTR plans to keep its activities safe for participants:
LHoTR requires that all participants wear a mask while dancing.
Contact information of all attendees will be kept on hand and members notified if an active case of COVID-19 is reported to LHOTR.

Liability
By attending LHOTR events and providing your contact information you agree that LHOTR (including its directors, board members, organizers, and volunteers) are to be HELD HARMLESS for any and all liability that may arise during, or as a result of, any event or activity which they may offer, privately or publicly, now or in the future.
Should you choose to engage in physical contact with another participant for the purposes of social dancing, those participants assume any and all risks involved with their choice, and LHOTR will not be held responsible for and secondary effects that may arise as a result of this social contact.
