Lindy Hop on the Rock Waiver of Liability
Lindy Hop on the Rock takes every reasonable measure to ensure registrants safety when taking part in classes or social dancing activities. Additionally, Lindy Hop on the Rock is committed to educating participants about proper dance etiquette and safety in each class. However, taking part in any physical activity presents inherent risk. To participant in the classes, social dance events, or other activities offered by Lindy Hop on Rock, participants must agree to the following Waiver of Liability:
I, the undersigned, hereby confirm that I understand and accept that Lindy Hop on the Rock, (including it's Directors, Board Members, Organizers and Volunteers) are to be HELD HARMLESS for any and all Liability that may arise during, or as a result of, any event or activity which they may offer, privately or publicly, now or in the future.
I understand and accept that Lindy Hop on the Rock (LHotR) is to be held harmless for any physical injury or impairment that may arise from my participation in any and all events or activities which they may offer, privately or publicly, now or in the future. This includes any and all physical conditions, injuries or impairments ranging from minor (such as bruising, scratches, sprains or strains) up to and including serious injury, disability and death.
By observing and/or participating in any and all activities or events that Lindy Hop on the Rock may offer, privately or publicly, now or in the future, I understand and accept that I am responsible for my own physical well-being and safety, and well as the physical well-being and safety of all other observers and participants.
I understand and accept that Lindy Hop on the Rock maintains an official “Code of Conduct” policy. This policy may be cited as rationale for the revocation of my eligibility to observe and/or participate in any and all events or activities that Lindy Hop on the Rock may offer, privately or publicly, now or in the future.
By observing and/or participating, I understand and accept that I am subject to the authority of the Lindy Hop on the Rock “Code of Conduct” policy document, and do hereby submit to its authority, in the case of my well-being and safety and/or the well-being and safety of all others.
I understand and accept that Lindy Hop on the Rock is to be held harmless for any and all Secondary Liabilities which may arise from the actions of its observers and/or participants, including any and all physical/mental/emotional/psychological damages that may arise as a result of my observation and/or participation in any and all events or activities that Lindy Hop on the Rock may offer, privately or publicly, now or in the future.
I understand and accept that the PUBLIC DISPLAY of this Waiver of Liability, by Lindy Hop on the Rock, constitutes my having been informed of, and in understanding and acceptance of, any and all conditions described herein, regardless of the presence or absence of my signature on this document.
I understand and accept that Lindy Hop on the Rock may request or require my visual and/or verbal acknowledgment of, or my signature on, this document at any time, and that my refusal to do so can and may result in the revocation of my eligibility to observe and/or participate in any and all events or activities that Lindy Hop on the Rock may offer, privately or publicly, now or in the future.
